ISCM Honored with the Ministry of Education and Training’s Emulation Flag 2024
On the morning of November 19, 2025, the ceremony celebrating the 43rd Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day took place at University of Economics HCMC (UEH), under the theme “Gratitude – Appreciation – Connection.” This year’s event carried special significance as UEH moved toward its 50-year milestone, a moment to reflect on its development journey, honor generations of educators, and reaffirm the enduring values that have shaped UEH’s identity for nearly half a century.
During the ceremony, UEH recognized outstanding collectives and individuals who received commendations from the Ministry of Education and Training for 2024. Among them, the Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM) and the Department of Finance and Investment Planning were honored to receive the Emulation Flag from the Minister of Education and Training for their achievements in innovation and creativity in management, teaching, and learning, leading the emulation blocks in 2024.
In addition, under Decision No. 1057/QĐ-BGDĐT dated April 18, 2025, the Minister of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 46 lecturers who delivered outstanding performance during 2023–2024. Among the recipients was Assoc. Prof. Tú Anh Trinh – Director of ISCM, recognized for her remarkable contributions in academic leadership, management, and organizational development.
ISCM extends its sincere congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Tú Anh Trinh and the entire Institute of Smart City and Management. This achievement reflects the Institute’s persistent dedication, innovative spirit, and strong commitment to the advancement of ISCM, the College of Technology and Design (CTD), and UEH. We wish her and all members of ISCM continued excellence and many more accomplishments on the journey of knowledge creation and community contribution.
