Delineating an integrated ecological–cultural corridor network in Hue, Vietnam: a spatial decision support system (SDSS) approach
Nguyễn Viết Quốc Hùng
This study develops an integrated ecological–cultural corridor network for Hue using remote sensing, GIS modelling, and expert evaluation. Ecological cores, cultural heritage sites, and optimal connecting corridors were identified through RSEI, MSPA, AHP, and least-cost path analysis. The resulting network, particularly along the Huong River and around the Imperial Citadel, supports biodiversity, cultural preservation, recreation, and tourism. The framework offers a replicable spatial planning model for sustainable and climate-resilient heritage cities.
