Dr. Hoang Ngoc Lan has been teaching and researching at the Institute of Smart Cities and Management - School of Technology and Design, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City as a senior lecturer. She has more than 30 years of teaching experience in the fields of Architecture, and Urban and Regional Planning. In addition, she has also participated in implementing many Urban Planning and Architecture projects in practice, especially projects of residential areas, industrial parks, tourist areas, etc. in many provinces and cities of Vietnam. Her research interests are urbanization and urban development, especially megacities, and strategic planning and planning implementation in Vietnamese cities.
