The Knowledge Festival In The Iscm 5th Anniversary Commemoration Event Series
On September 28, the ISCM 5th Anniversary Commemoration Event Series at UEH Campus V – smART Hub Living Labs, 232/6 Võ Thị Sáu, Xuân Hòa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, continued its journey under the theme "Symphony of Future Cities," underscoring the pivotal role of knowledge and co-creation in developing smart, sustainable urban solutions oriented toward Net Zero. The day's activities unfolded comprehensively, featuring the book launch of Smart City: Global Design, an immersive experience at the "Future Campuses towards Net Zero" Exhibition, and the "Co-creation for Net Zero" Dialogue, which fostered connections among communities, academia, and sustainable initiatives

The book launch of Smart City: Global Design garnered significant interest from the academic community in urban studies and architecture. Four volumes, each offering multifaceted approaches, were successively introduced. While differing in research perspectives, these publications converge on a shared objective: constructing smart, equitable, and sustainable cities centered on human needs. Beyond providing in-depth knowledge, these works inspire practical implementation methodologies, laying a scholarly foundation for future research and projects.
In parallel, the "Future Campuses towards Net Zero" Exhibition incorporated Hologram technology (a product of 3D imaging techniques), delivering visually compelling experiences that blend artistry and technology. This 3D presentation established a novel paradigm for envisioning multilayered, multidimensional future cities.

Experts shared their experiences during the exchange session
Particularly noteworthy was the "Co-creation for Net Zero" Dialogue, which cultivated an in-depth forum for exchanging experiences in implementing Living Labs. Far from being mere research models, Living Labs serve as catalysts for realizing Net Zero commitments. Moreover, the journey involving Living Lab initiatives has driven comprehensive urban transformations. The dialogue also afforded opportunities to reflect on past endeavors and share international experiences, thereby shaping tailored development pathways for smart, sustainable, livable cities achieving net-zero emissions in the near future.
Concluding the activities of September 28, ISCM left an indelible imprint of knowledge integration, dedicated innovation, and enduring co-creation, while paving new avenues for the institute in pioneering urban solutions that synergize expertise, creativity, and partnerships with future generations.
Look forward to September 29 – The Grand Ceremony Commemorating ISCM's 5th Anniversary, featuring events such as “ISCM's 5th Anniversary Celebration” and “Talkshow Architecture Talk” at Campus V, promising memorable experiences, academic connections, and dialogues with international experts.
