Urban Designer
Urban designers are responsible for researching and proposing spatial development directions for urban areas, neighbourhoods, and public spaces. Their work aims to achieve a balance among functionality, aesthetics, local identity, accessibility, and sustainable development.
Key roles
- Survey and analyse urban structures, landscapes, and community needs.
- Develop urban design concepts, visions, and strategies.
- Prepare master plans, spatial diagrams, and design guidelines.
- Design public squares, parks, streets, and other public spaces.
- Integrate transport, land use, green infrastructure, and urban amenities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and public authorities.
- Present and defend design proposals to clients, communities, and other stakeholders.
