ISCM Participates in the 2026 Admission & Career Guidance Fair in Can Tho
On the morning of March 22, 2026, the Admission and Career Guidance Fair 2026 in Can Tho took place in a vibrant atmosphere, attracting the participation of 104 universities, colleges, vocational schools, and educational organizations nationwide. With more than 160 consulting booths organized by academic fields, the event created favorable conditions for students to easily access information, explore academic programs, and shape their future career paths.

Amid this dynamic setting, a booth of the Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM), attracted a large number of students and parents. The strong interest from visitors highlights the growing appeal of smart city-related fields in the context of rapid urbanization and digital transformation.
Throughout the morning, ISCM faculty members and students actively engaged with visitors, providing guidance and answering questions about academic programs, admission methods, and career orientations in smart city-related fields. Through these interactive discussions and dedicated consultations, students gained a clearer understanding of the curriculum, learning environment, and essential skills needed to pursue these disciplines. It is evident that smart cities are playing an increasingly important role in modern urban development and represent a promising field aligned with future trends, especially as infrastructure systems, particularly transportation, continue to be improved and expanded.

At the event, ISCM introduced valuable information about The Bachelor of Architectural and Urban Design for inclusive Smart City program (BAUD), which received significant attention thanks to its interdisciplinary approach, combining design, creativity, and innovative thinking to address urban challenges. A key highlight of the program is its dual-degree pathway with the University of Auckland (New Zealand), offering students opportunities to study in an advanced international environment and enhancing their global competitiveness.

In addition to BAUD, two newly introduced programs also drew considerable interest. The Bachelor of Architectural and Urban Design for Inclusive Smart City (BAUD) aims to train a new generation of architects capable of creating modern living spaces while integrating technology and sustainable development principles. Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Smart Mobility and Operations Management (BMOM) opens up new pathways for students interested in urban operations, transportation systems, and solutions to optimize urban mobility in the future.

Through direct consultations, many students expressed strong interest in emerging fields such as urban design and urban system operations. Insights shared by ISCM faculty also helped students gain a clearer understanding of study pathways, career opportunities, and labor market expectations. For students in the Mekong Delta region, the event served as a valuable opportunity to access new academic fields and begin shaping their aspirations to become future creators and operators of smart cities.
It is hoped that the information shared at the 2026 Admission and Career Guidance Fair has provided students with new perspectives in choosing their academic paths and shaping their future. ISCM looks forward to meeting students again at upcoming admission events.
